Use Cases
Receive a control panel notification, email, text message or immediate contact from our call centre in the event of a critical failure. MTAC can be setup to monitor lighting, plant equipment, utility supply or any other critical service at any remote location.
Ensure compliance by monitoring your operational environment. MTAC can link you to an existing sensor in the field or can provide a new one. We currently provide wind monitoring services to network rail and alerting when operational parameters are exceeded at critical locations.
MTAC is great for public information solutions. MTAC can be provided as a wireless vandal and weather proof Help Phone (for highways, train station platforms, etc.), Passenger Service Displays (for bus stops, etc.), or can interface with existing communication, security and site control equipment to provide centralised monitoring and control.
Reduce maintenence cost with MTAC. Receive an immediate or regular report of any maintenence requirements from blown light bulbs to the deteriration or failure state of equipment in the field. MTAC can also be provided as a managed electrical cabinet that trends cabinet temperature and warns that cleaning of a cooling fan or other maintenence is required.
MTAC is the ideal solution to control hard to reach lighting or completely wireless and solar powered facilities. MTAC can use LTE-NB or BLE to link to your lighting network to the online control panel. It can be interfaced with your existing lighting to allow remote monitoring of the network, scheduled and co-ordinated lighting control and alerting to maintenence requirements such as power failures and blown light bulbs.
How it Works
Like a mobile phone plan...
MTAC NetLink is our 'mobile phone', and MTAC Mission Control is our 'telephone service'. MTAC Netlink hardware is provided at a one-off cost that may vary depending on your specific requirements. MTAC Mission Control is provided free for six months when you first join MTAC, then on a subscription basis with no fixed term.
MTAC NetLink is equipped to communicate with other machines via protocols including RS232, RS485, i2C and SPI so in some cases can be provided as a plug and play addition to your equipment. If your equipment is not designed to be network controlled, we may need to provide you with a custom Interface at an additional charge.
